What You’ll Learn:
- Talking about future events
- Talking about desire and intentions
- Work and conditions of work
- Apologising
- Telling a story
- Saying what was happening when an event took place
- Showing curiosity
Grammar in Focus:
- Simple future tense
- Hypothetical situations
- Present perfect of modal verbs
- Conguigations (perō, quindi, perchē, mentre, quando)
Assessments
There are no formal assessments required as part of this course, students will be awarded with a York College certificate upon completion.

Study methods
This is a classroom-based course and will be taught with a focus on listening, understanding and speaking with an introduction to reading and writing.

Additional costs
All materials are provided for you to complete the course. However, some courses may require additional study from home, you may need access to a PC/laptop and suitable Wi-Fi to access teaching and learning. You will be made aware of any additional study time at the time of enrolment.
Course progression
Student who have successfully completed this course may progress to Lower Intermediate Italian 1, if there is sufficient demand.

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge in basic Italian to help you progress and develop in a number of job opportunities to suit your personal needs and interests.
