If you are inquisitive about the world around you and enjoy discussing both sides of an argument then a Humanities & Social Sciences course is for you.

With a wide range of subjects to choose from, lessons go beyond the theory with activities that include taking part in mock trials, hustings, trips to visit the British Museum or Rome and talks by guest speakers.

Our tutors’ extensive knowledge and passion for their subjects is evidenced in their published works and other roles. These are experts in their fields of study from Barristers teaching Law to Senior examiners teaching Politics.

Past students have gone on to study at Oxford, Cambridge and other top universities, and progressed to careers in the Civil Service, consultancy, law, teaching, politics, criminology, social work and clinical psychology.
