What you'll cover
These beginner-friendly pilates sessions are designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of pilates in a welcoming and supportive environment. You’ll learn core principles such as breathing, alignment, balance, and controlled movement, with clear guidance throughout.
These sessions focus on gentle, low impact exercises that build core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, and enhance overall body awareness. All movements are taught at a steady pace with options and modifications, making the sessions suitable for complete beginners or anyone returning to exercise after a break.
No prior experience is needed—just wear comfortable clothing and bring a willingness to move. By the end of the session, you can expect to feel more grounded, stronger, and confident in your basic pilates practice.
Facilities
Students have access to a fantastic range of College-wide facilities such as the Learning & Research Centre, study hubs, computer areas with accompanying multi-function printers and helpdesk advice.
This workshop will take place in a studio space.
