What you'll cover
This Pilates: Balance and Strength sessions focus on building a strong, stable body while improving balance, coordination, and control. Using slow, purposeful movements, you’ll challenge your core muscles as well as the legs and upper body, helping to develop strength you can use in everyday life.
These sessions blend classic pilates exercises with balance-focused work, encouraging better posture, joint stability, and body awareness. Options and progressions are offered, making it suitable for a range of abilities—from those with some pilates experience to confident beginners looking to advance.
Expect a calm yet effective session that leaves you feeling stronger, more centred, and steady on your feet.
Facilities
Students have access to a fantastic range of College-wide facilities such as the Learning & Research Centre, study hubs, computer areas with accompanying multi-function printers and helpdesk advice.
This workshop will take place in a studio space.
