What you'll cover
We're writers. That's what we do. If we were good at selling stuff, we'd be estate agents. So, we beaver away in our bedrooms, then emerge, six months later, squinting at the light, clutching a dodgy first draft. And this is what we say, "Hey, I know, maybe someone could sell this for me? Invest all their time and money into flogging my 'darkly comic' creation. Why? Because they're enthralled! Then all I need to do is reap the rewards, applause, adoration, and cash".
This is not a business plan; it's a work of fiction. It doesn't matter if you write poems, screenplays or children's short stories, the challenge is the same, "What to do with it?"
So, this is a writing course with a difference: yes, we will create a thing of beauty, then crucially, find it a home.
