What you'll cover
Fire spinning is the use of Poi (balls on the end of a chain) which has been set alight and spun around the body through various complicated movements to music. Originating in the Polynesian islands, Poi has been used for hundreds of years in dance and is used in modern day during parties and music festivals as a great way to entertain the crowds.
The sessions are designed in mind for complete beginners to be able to get involved with a new hobby, giving you all the skills needed to create your own practice poi, learn a base set of moves, learn what safety and tools are required to move to fire spinning. The aim is to give you the skills and confidence to be able to set your own Poi alight and amaze your friends.
