This course is designed for learners who already have some basic sewing experience and would like to build on their existing skills.

Students will refine their understanding of fabrics, patterns, fitting, and finishing techniques while working on individual projects that reflect their interests and ability. The course promotes safe sewing studio practice and provides tutor guidance to help learners achieve increasingly professional results and progress towards more challenging dressmaking projects.

Students with their own sewing machine should let their tutor know during the first session. While machines are available in the classroom, using your own domestic machine allows you to become more familiar with its operation and supports continued practice outside of class.

Dates & course durations
