Upon successful completion, students will receive both the VTCT Level 4 Certificate and an exclusive certificate from Antony Turner, along with a professional start-up kit and continued ongoing mentorship/support.
Entry requirements
Students should have completed a Level 3 beauty related qualification prior to undertaking this qualification for example Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Access to Aesthetics (both courses available at York College).

Learners must achieve the mandatory units:
· Management of health, safety and security in the salon
· Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector
· Enhance appearance using micropigmentation treatment
Throughout this qualification, learners will prepare for and achieve a range of micropigmentation effects as well as providing the relevant aftercare. To carry out this treatment you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene throughout your work.
Assessment
Each course consists of 6 weeks pre-learning (theory) and five days of in-person training and assessments, delivered by experienced trainers who will guide you through both the theoretical and practical aspects of the treatments. As part of this qualification students are required to produce a portfolio of evidence. A portfolio will confirm the knowledge, understanding and skills that you have learnt. It may be in electronic or paper format. Students will also be assessed by practical observations.

Facilities

Our Hair & Beauty department features two large, fully equipped hairdressing salons and four professional-standard beauty therapy salons, providing real-world environments for students to refine their skills. A welcoming commercial salon reception area enhances the professional experience, while three dedicated media make-up workshops offer creative spaces for students to bring their artistry to life using industry-standard tools and products.
