Plumbing Technical Diploma Level 3
This course is designed for individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career in the plumbing industry and are eager to develop the skills and knowledge required to become proficient plumbers.

Entry requirements
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Sciences and GCSE Maths at grade 5, along with a valid Level 2 Diploma or Level 2 Technical Certificate in Plumbing.
What will I study?
During the course, you will develop advanced knowledge and practical skills in plumbing, focusing on the design, installation, and maintenance of domestic central heating, hot and cold water systems, and sanitation systems. You will also explore environmental technology systems, gaining insight into sustainable plumbing solutions.
Additionally, you will learn about building services site procedures, including project planning and safety protocols, ensuring you are well-prepared for complex plumbing tasks in residential and commercial settings.

Method of delivery
The qualification is based on an EPA (End-Point Assessment) along with a written exam. You can expect to spend 80% of your time in the classroom studying toward your written theory exam and the other 20% honing in the skills originally developed on your Level 2 qualification in preparation for the end-point assessment.
How will I be assessed?
One 30 question written paper and one EPA (End-Point Assessment) task at the end of the course.
Good course combinations
This is a full-time course. It is not possible to combine this course with other Vocational, Apprenticeship or A Level programmes.
