NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Dementia
This qualification is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and awareness of dementia.
Entry requirements
You must be aged 19+ and have an interest in learning more about dementia.
Course units
- Dementia awareness
- The person-centred approach to the care and support of individuals with dementia
- Understand the factors that can influence communication and interaction with individuals who have dementia
- Understand equality, diversity and inclusion in dementia care
Assessments
This qualification is assessed via assignments.

Study methods
This course will be taught face-to-face in a classroom setting.
