Cookery School: Round the World Cooking
Travel the globe from your kitchen with this flavour-packed 5-week cooking course. Each session focuses on a different country or region, where you'll learn to cook authentic, accessible dishes using seasonal produce and store cupboard staples. A great way to expand your recipe repertoire and discover new favourites.
No prior experience is needed to join this class, so if you want to develop your skills, our chefs are here to help with tips and guidance on how to whip up a range of healthy meals.
All items produced can be taken home for you to enjoy or share.

Enrolment for this course will open in January 2026.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but students must have an interest and passion for cookery and want to learn more.

Course progression
After this course you could undertake any of the other York College Cookery School classes for your enjoyment.
If you were interested in gaining a formal qualification in catering, our tutors would be able to advise on suitable routes that are available on a full or part time basis.
