College isn’t just about studying, it’s also about meeting new people, trying new things, and making your time here unforgettable. That’s why York College has a brand new Student Experience & Activities Team. The lively quartet are here to make sure you get the most out of College life!
From clubs and societies to events, campaigns and making sure your voice is heard, this team is all about creating opportunities for you to get involved, have fun and feel part of the York College community.
Meet the Team…
“I am the Student Experience & Activities Advisor.
“I have a team of three people, and our job is to put on all the extra-curricular activities for students, run our societies, run the Student Union and all of the democracy pieces.
As a team, we bring the fun!”
“I am the new Youth Social Action Apprentice.
“I will be working with students to help them lead their own projects around fundraising and campaigns. I will help them to better themselves and the community.”
“My role is Student Enrichment Officer.
My job is to organise any extra-curricular activities. This includes clubs, societies and activities, so students can experience more outside of their course and subjects.”
“I am the Student Voice Officer.
“I will make sure that students have their voice heard and that they feel empowered. I will help them to have a say in what happens at College.
“I will be running events such as inclusion days to make sure everyone across the College feels represented. I will make sure that everyone in College has their say and that it is inclusive for everyone.”
