This course will enable students to offer clear and accurate information, advice or guidance and feel confident knowing what can and can’t be shared, both legally and professionally. If you are currently working in a capacity that offers information, advice or guidance, this qualification will ensure your skills and knowledge are up-to-date and in line with the latest rules and regulations regarding the sharing of information and data.

Entry requirements
There are no specific entry requirements, however, learners should have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

- Understand the interaction skills required for Information, Advice, or Guidance
- Understanding signposting and referral in Information, Advice, or Guidance
- Understand the Context of Information, Advice, or Guidance
- Understand Skills Required by Advice Providers

All materials are provided for you to complete the course. However, you will need access to a PC/laptop and suitable Wi-Fi to access teaching and learning.

*Most students over the age of 19 will be able to study these courses for free, however, please contact us if you’re aged 19-23 and do not yet have a full Level 2 qualification (five GCSEs grade 9-4/A*-C, NVQ Level 2 or higher) as additional eligibility criteria may apply.
