Summer Adult Showcase - Introduction to Plumbing
This course is aimed at anyone who likes the idea of learning some new practical skills, or who is thinking about a possible career change and wants more of an insight into plumbing before embarking on a course.
Overview
Have you ever thought it would be great to learn some basic skills and an insight into plumbing?
This hands-on course will begin by giving you the knowledge of basic push fit connectors and how to cut plastic and copper pipe. You will then make a frame comprising of push fit and compression fittings. This will be pressure tested to check for leaks.
You'll then be taken through removing a radiator and refitting.

This course will take place in our plumbing workshop, enabling you to develop your practical skills and knowledge.

Course progression
The course will provide a good base to move on to an adult evening City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing in September 2023.
