Summer Adult Showcase - Introduction to Bricklaying
This course is aimed at anyone who likes the idea of learning some new practical skills, or who is thinking about a possible career change and wants more of an insight into bricklaying before embarking on a course.
Overview
You will learn basic brickwork techniques including setting out and skills such as measuring, cutting, levelling, plumbing, and pointing.
You will then have the opportunity to put your newfound skills to the test by building a brick BBQ.

Facilities
This course will take place in the bricklaying workshop in our state of the art Construction Centre.
The Centre’s impressive facilities include two large workshop spaces, changing facilities, classroom and IT suites.
