What you'll cover
These introductory bricklaying sessions are designed for adults who want to learn the essential skills needed to carry out simple, practical projects at home.
You will be guided through the basics of bricklaying, including setting out, mixing mortar, and laying bricks accurately and safely.
By the end of the sessions, you will have the confidence and skills to build a small wall or a garden feature such as a barbecue, while developing a strong foundation in safe working practices and basic construction techniques.
Facilities
Students have access to a fantastic range of College-wide facilities such as the Learning & Research Centre, study hubs, computer areas with accompanying multi-function printers and helpdesk advice.
You will work in our state-of-the-art bricklaying workshop.
