Cookery School: Retro Revival
Take a trip down memory lane with our nostalgic recipes. Join us to revisit old school classics, dinner party greats, crowd-pleasing feasts, and vintage puds.
Led by our resident Culinary Master, Graham Fyfe, you will learn how to cook a range of retro classics in time for a modern revival. From savoury classics such as chicken kiev, croquettes and the 70s favourite dessert, brandy snap baskets, this range of retro treats will be fun to cook and to eat.
No prior cookery experience is needed to join this class, so if you’re hoping to revive days gone by in your dinner parties, Graham is here to help with tips and guidance on how to whip up classic dishes that are sure to impress friends and family.
Over the course of the 5 weeks, you will produce a range of savoury and sweet dishes to allow you to create and serve a dinner party to be proud of.
Everything produced in the session can be taken home to be enjoyed or shared.
At the end of the session, you will take home what you have produced to enjoy.
Any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances can be accommodated within the menu for the day. Please contact Graham at gfyfe@yorkcollege.ac.uk to discuss any specific requirements.
