In 2022, our in-person Creative Shows returned for the first time in two years. For the first time, our York College University Centre students exhibited their end-of-year creations off-campus at Spark:York. Our further education Creative Shows took place on campus and our Fashion students worked with professional filmmakers and Media Make-up students to create some fantastic Fashion Show showreels.
Our Creative Shows feature the Final Major Projects of our further education and degree-level students' from a range of disciplines, including drawing, painting, print-making, glass, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, 3D, product design, film, digital imaging, animation, photography, design and graphics, fashion and media make-up.
Rob Baxter, Head of Art & Design said, "It was
so good to get back to face-to-face shows for all courses this year. The staff
and students were really committed to showing their work and the videos below serve as a
reminder to all who participated and came to see what a great year 2022 was."
