TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes
The purpose of this qualification is to provide up-to-date and continual professional development (CPD) relevant to job roles which involve caring for individuals with diabetes, or those looking to seek employment in related job roles. This qualification could be ideal as part of the induction process for some particular entry-level job roles for individuals who wish to adopt an initial understanding of the condition.
This course will develop your knowledge and understanding of diabetes and the prevention and early intervention of type 2 diabetes; the initial care of diabetes and the treatment and management of diabetes including how diabetes can be delayed with lifestyle changes. You will learn about the ongoing care and treatment options for diabetes and how to control blood sugar levels.

There are no specific entry requirements, however, learners should have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
