What you'll cover

In these informative sessions, you'll learn the basics of servicing, repairing and checking your vehicle.

These sessions will teach essential vehicle maintenance skills that every driver should know.

You'll gain confidence in performing routine safety checks, including inspecting tires, checking fluid levels, understanding dashboard warning lights, and identifying common vehicle issues.

The course could also cover skills such as simple repairs and emergency procedures including changing a flat tire, replacing wiper blades, and jump-starting a battery.

By the end of these sessions, participants will be better equipped to keep their vehicles safe, reliable, and roadworthy while potentially reducing maintenance costs and avoiding unnecessary breakdowns.

Facilities

Students have access to a fantastic range of College-wide facilities such as the Learning & Research Centre, study hubs, computer areas with accompanying multi-function printers and helpdesk advice.

These sessions will be taught in our industry-standard motor vehicle workshops.
