Welcome Fest is the perfect chance for Further Education students to get a real flavour for student life at York College before the summer break.
Come along to this fun-filled event and explore our campus in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself with our activities, get creative, meet fellow students, or simply have some post-exam fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll also be able to meet your tutors again and get any final questions answered.
Applied for A Levels or a T Level? You will be able to enrol on the day too (excluding electrical and engineering courses)

Getting to Welcome Fest couldn’t be easier — our college buses will be running free of charge to help you to travel to campus and join in all the fun. Whether you’re coming to explore the college once again, meet tutors, ask any final questions or to enjoy the activities on offer, our transport service is here to make your journey simple and stress-free. Please see the transport timetable below for bus routes and departure times.
To use the college bus on this date, you will just need to show your Welcome Fest invite or a Welcome Fest email.
This is a free-flow event and you are welcome to bring along a parent/carer or attend with friends who will also be joining the College.
