Overview

The HND in Creative Media Production (Film) is a direct progression from the HNC in Creative Media Production (Film).

This level 5 qualification will greatly develop your skills in filmography, providing you with both the technical, practical elements and the theoretical knowledge required to meet the professional standards expected for a successful career in the global film industry.

Our Approach

This one-year programme will enable you to analyse, discuss and evaluate the theoretical elements whilst participating in practical workshops. You will learn and apply storytelling techniques, framing and the application of sound and light to film and digital media.

You will be assessed using a variety of techniques, including lectures, seminars, screenings, reflective critiques, independent study and group research activities. An emphasis on real -world vocational practices and assessment briefs rests at the core of our teaching and learning within this HND.
