This course is based on the principle that managing the performance of the workforce is concerned with optimising its potential to ensure the continued improvement and development of an organisation whilst supporting the individuals in their personal development and growth. It is founded on the firm belief that it is as valuable to have an individual develop within an organisation and move on to better things as it is to watch an individual grow and remain within the organisation.
This course is for anyone from junior supervisor level upwards who is in any way responsible for the performance and behaviour of another colleague. The principles are of particular value to those starting so as to learn these principles and techniques as early as possible in their careers.
This is not an accredited programme and no formal assessment will take place. There will be a range of group exercises which will reinforce the learning throughout. It should be noted that this course does not include role play activities.
This course is delivered over 1 day – 9.30am to 4.30pm.
