The government plans to transform the way we deal with mental illness in this country at every stage of a person’s life starting with ensuring that children and young people get the help and support they need and deserve – mental illness too often starts in childhood and, when left untreated, can blight lives and become entrenched. During this two-day programme you will learn how to identify symptoms, understand and help someone who has or may be developing a mental health issue. Our programme is delivered by a qualified, registered nurse with many years experience delivering training in mental health-related illnesses.
