This creative course will give you the knowledge, practical experience and confidence to progress into a career in Television and Film, in a variety of roles including; video editing, content production, scriptwriting and television studio operations.
If you have an active interest in film and video production and an eagerness to develop your expertise in experimentation and creative development, then this could be the perfect course for you.
This programme will equip you with the skills, knowledge and practical experience necessary to progress onto a successful career in the creative industries, with a focus on shooting, editing, content generation and digital production. It is an ideal base for developing skills for podcasting, vlogging, web-based and freelance work.
The HNC in Creative Media Production (Film) feeds directly into the HND in Creative Media Production, allowing you to study the subject at a greater depth.
This one-year programme will enable you to analyse, discuss and evaluate the theoretical elements whilst participating in practical workshops. You will learn and apply storytelling techniques, framing and the application of sound and light to film and digital media.
You will be assessed using a variety of techniques, including lectures, seminars, screenings, reflective critiques, independent study and group research activities.
