Who is this course aimed at?

The York College certificate in Stone carving is designed for anyone who has an interest in Heritage skills. This course will build up your practical carving skills.

The practice of basic Stone Carving skills:

Time: 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Day: Tuesdays

Course Length

30 weeks.

Course Content

You will study the practical elements of Stone carving to build confidence and tool skills.

Teaching Method(s)

Practical sessions in our specialist stonemasonry workshops.

Exams and Assessments

Practical assessments – internally assessed.

Qualification(s)

York College Certificate.

What will I require to study the course?

You will get all information prior to enrolment on any Personal Protective equipment needed. All tools and equipment will be provided.
