Super Saturday Adult Taster - Introduction to Core Maths
The course is designed to give an introduction to Level 3 Core Maths which builds on GCSE Maths, focused on problem-solving and interpretation of maths in the real world. Students will consider and tackle mathematics in meaningful contexts, including through financial applications and statistical ideas that can support work in other subjects.

The course is designed to give an introduction to Level 3 Core Maths which builds on GCSE Maths, focused on problem-solving and interpretation of maths in the real world. Students will consider and tackle mathematics in meaningful contexts, including through financial applications and statistical ideas that can support work in other subjects.
Modules include:
- Statistics and Algebra
- Probability and Estimation
- Financial Planning and Management
- Applications using mathematics to investigate a given problem
Students should have a minimum of a grade 4 in GCSE Mathes (or be predicted a minimum of a grade 4 from the recent GCSE Exams).
Who is this course aimed at?
This is aimed at student who intend to undertake the Level 3 Mathematical Studies Course.

This is a classroom-based course.
