Overview
Get fit and have fun with this exciting dance class!
This class will help you build confidence and promotes good wellbeing.
You will learn how to stretch safely and will learn transitional skills that you can use in your exercise regime at home or elsewhere.
The course will start with basic stretching, leading on to some fitness and Zumba style exercise, and will finish with a yoga session.
You will need to wear trainers and comfortable clothing you can move around in.
Who is this course aimed at?
This course is suitable for those who have lacked confidence or are unsure where to start in getting fit safely. It will allow you to explore your passion for movement and dance and will allow you to express yourself in a fun way.
Facilities
At York College students are able to access our state-of-the-art dance studio to enhance their skills and express their creativity.
Our students also have access to a fantastic range of College-wide facilities such as the Learning & Research Centre, study hubs, computer areas with accompanying multi-function printers and helpdesk advice.
