Explore your creativity and create your very own pot!
This course will entail the hands-on making processes of coiling and throwing on the potter’s wheel to produce ceramic vessels. These vessels will be enhanced using texture and sculpture tools and the application of decorative slips.
NOTE: Any work produced will need approximately a week to dry and then be fired to biscuit. This is the prior to the last week of term and allows for participants to collect their work.
Who is this course aimed at?
This course is suitable for those looking for full day of making in the medium of clay. It's a fun opportunity to be creative and explore your artistic abilities It's suitable for both beginners and those at intermediate level, but a working knowledge of clay would be advantageous.

The ceramic facilities at York College are excellent, and are equipped with everything needed to produce fantastic pottery and ceramic art.
