Spring Adult Showcase - Pottery
Explore your creativity and create your very own ceramic vessel! This course will entail the hands-on making processes of coiling and throwing on the potter’s wheel to produce ceramic vessels. These vessels will be enhanced using texture and sculpture tools and the application of decorative slips.

Explore your creativity and create your very own ceramic vessel! This course will entail the hands-on making processes of coiling and throwing on the potter’s wheel to produce ceramic vessels. These vessels will be enhanced using texture and sculpture tools and the application of decorative slips.
Please note: any work produced will need approximately a week to dry and then be fired to biscuit. Participants will then collect their work.
Who is this course aimed at?
This course is for those who would like to explore their creativity and experience a fun, hands-on craft experience.

The ceramic facilities at York College are excellent, and are equipped with everything needed to produce fantastic pottery and ceramic art.
At York College our students have access to a fantastic range of College-wide facilities such as the Learning & Research Centre, study hubs, computer areas with accompanying multi-function printers and helpdesk advice.
