Spring Adult Showcase - Introduction to Beauty Therapy

During this session you will both perform and receive a luxury manicure treatment, working with other adult students in the class. Not only is this a great way to make new friends, but also an opportunity to learn about various aspects of beauty therapy, giving you sufficient information to see if this might be a course you would like to study in the future.

The tutor will perform a demonstration and the you will complete the practical activity. You will also receive a York College Certificate of Attendance.

Please wear comfortable clothing avoid wearing jewellery as this will need to be removed to perform and receive the treatment.

This course is aimed at those interested in learning beauty therapy treatments and techniques, who would like to develop and learn new skills.

This course will take place in one of our professional beauty therapy rooms.

At York College we have a range of beauty therapy treatment rooms, hairdressing salons and media make-up workshops to ensure our students are able to train in a professional working environment.

You'll learn the skills required to perform a luxury manicure.

If you enjoy this session you might like to study the Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification. This course will be across two evenings a week for a full academic year. More information will be provided during the taster session.
