This course is suitable for those wanting to learn the more sophisticated features of Word to those already familiar with the basics. To ensure that the user is aware of Workgroup features, Macros, using Word as a form entry tool. Designed to take the Word user further in the package. The emphasis is on using the more sophisticated aspects of Word such as Fields, Building Blocks, Macros and Forms to create complex documents. Customising Word via Macros is also covered.
This course is delivered over 1 day from 9.30am to 4.30pm

- Recap of Document Design Basics
- Advanced Tables usage, Sorting and Formulae
- Inserting and updating Fields
- Tracking Changes and Versions - Creating Forms in Word, Inserting different types of Form control Protecting the Form Document
- Macros in Word - Recording and Storing Word Macros, Running Macros from Buttons, Toolbars and Events, Editing Macro Code
- Customising Word Options
- Inserting and Linking content from Excel and other Programs
- Saving Templates containing Styles, Macros, Building Blocks and Fields
