Excel Intermediate - Campus@Northallerton
This course is suitable for people who have either attended an introductory Excel course or have a working knowledge of Excel functions that they wish to build on.
The course is delivered over one day, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Topics covered will include:
Building spreadsheets
- Introduction, outline and objectives
- Functions and formulae - entering and copying formulae, searching for functions
- Naming ranges - creating named ranges, using names in movement, inserting names in formulae
- Formatting - number formatting, cell styles, copying and clearing formatting
Printing and charting
- Printing - setting up the print area, previewing and print settings, page layout choices
- Page breaks - inserting and removing page breaks, page break preview, repeating page titles, page layout view
- Charting - chart types, creating charts, customising charts, design options, layout options, format options

- Input cells - entering percentage cells, absolute ($) cell references
- IF() function - arguments, entering conditions
