For several years Religious Studies tutor Anna Lewis has coordinated the hamper collection project at the College, leaving empty boxes for donations in staff workrooms which students have gathered together ready for collection by the Besom charity. She says: “Christmas is not an easy time for some people and once again I am grateful to the College community for supporting this worthy cause. It is so heart warming to see staff and students working together in a practical way, showing that they care for those who are going through difficult times.”

A Level student Maya Szyszka says: “We hope to put a smile on the faces of those less fortunate than ourselves this Christmas.  We want the hampers make a real difference to people's experience of Christmas.  It's really good that the College is doing something to help.”
