Access, Extended Degree and International students spent an enjoyable afternoon with their tutors, family and friends celebrating the completion of their year-long studies at York College.
At the special celebration event, held in the College atrium, students graduating in Access to Higher Education Diplomas in Art & Design, Allied Healthcare, Business, Education Professions, Computing, Creative Art, Design and Media, Education Professions, Humanities, Nursing and Midwifery, Science and Social Science, as well as Extended Degree and International Foundation Programme students were presented with a certificate of completion.
Louise Lawrence-Crockford, Deputy Principal at York College presented the certificates and joined with individual tutors in congratulating students on their commitment to lifelong learning, wishing them well as they progress to universities around the country.
Mike Saunders, Head of Studies for Lifelong Learning and Higher Education said: “I congratulate our students on the completion of their courses. Their studies have put them on route to a particular career path and they will now develop their skills at universities up and down the country.”
