This exhibition presents work by Richard Lees, an activist and printmaker based in Hull. Justice, his most recent campaign project, is a collection of lino prints inspired by and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. The exhibition also includes previous print-work, silk screen as well as lino, responding to equality, environmental and human rights issues both in the UK and internationally.

Gallery Information

York College Gallery is a public art gallery dedicated to exhibiting the work of emerging and established artists and designers. The gallery provides artists with the opportunity to exhibit their work to a wide audience, gives the students of the college an opportunity to experience diverse and experimental work and brings to the region a gallery space this is engaged with current concerns within art and design
