Simon Shepherd delivered “Visitor Services Sales Training” to the teams at RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Visitor Services Manager Rik Anderson said:
“I approached York College with a view to them tailoring their standard sales training more to our specific needs and they didn’t disappoint,” said Rik. “A few meetings were set up to establish which elements of the training could be expanded, and which elements could be removed, in order to make it more bespoke.
“The trainer even came on site to do a ‘mystery shop’ so that he had a better understanding of how we operate, and where improvements could be made. The session itself was engaging and had just the right amount of time and content. My team all came away with at least three techniques which they felt they could really put into practice.
“Given that they already have a very good success rate in selling, I am looking forward to the enhanced results off the back of this recent training.”
