Lily has studied at York College & University Centre for five years, having enrolled on the two year Level 3 Creative Media & Production course after Year 11, before progressing on to the BA (Hons) Film Production & Professional Practice.

The skills she has learnt have led her to balance completing her degree whilst working as a videographer and photographer on singer Louis Tomlinson’s two week tour across Europe as he promoted his album. This follows work earlier in the year on tours with Robbie Williams and American pop-punk, singer-songwriter Taylor Acorn.

Talking about the skills she learnt in those formative years on the Creative Media course she says: “I definitely use a lot of the skills now 100 per cent, especially pre-production with all the planning and organisational skills that you need that I first learned on the course when I was 16 or 17. I also learned how to work with, communicate and adjust to other people on the course and that has helped now I’m working with different crews all of the time.”
