Says Helen Ventress, Head of Division for Art Design and Craft at York College: “The York College Creative Show is a very high profile event in the College's Calendar. It reflects the flair and genius of our students and their incredible efforts and achievements as they embark on the next stage in their careers. Their inspiration comes from trips, live projects, working with employers, competitions and preparation for the real world of work and further study. They are the young artists and new designers of the future with their finger on the pulse of exciting ideas in the ever changing world we live in. The students will progress to employment or go on to study higher level courses. Our students’ destinations are many and various and include prestigious places at universities across the UK as well as the College’s own degree courses.”
