York College announces Oxbridge Successes

York College is pleased to announce that two students have received conditional offers to go to Oxford and Cambridge university. Poppy Duke has a conditional offer to study Computer Science at Magdalen College, Oxford and Sam Poulten has a conditional offer to study Maths at Girton College, Cambridge.

York College is the largest provider of students to university in the region and this year 1000 students have sent in UCAS applications,  which is a record for the College.

York College, says: “Student success and achievement is the main focus for all our students and we are delighted that Poppy and Sam, who both study Maths and Further Maths among their A Levels, have been given conditional offers to Oxford and Cambridge universities.  They have done extremely well to be selected and will work hard to attain the grades they require.”
