Olive Oil Conference,

Final year Professional
Cookery students at York
College, accompanied
by their college tutors,
are preparing to attend
the International Olive
Oil Conference being
held in Spain next month.
During the conference
York College students
will carry out a cooking
demonstration for an
audience of delegates
from around the world.
They will show them how
traditional dishes from
the UK use extra virgin
olive oil.

Head of Division for
Catering & Hospitality

Conference will provide
our students with a great
opportunity to learn
about world cooking.
The fact that they will
be taking an active role
in the conference, giving
a cookery demonstration,
will give them even more
confidence in their cooking
and presentation skills.”
