Nick
wins Bronze
Stonemasony
student, Nick Bragg,
has won the joint bronze
medal at the regional
SkillBuild competition
held in Glasgow.
Nick has completed his
Level 3 stonemasonry
qualification at York
College and is an apprentice
stonemason at Worcester
Cathedral.
Previously, at the York
College Construction
Awards, Nick was awarded
the Peter Moore Masonry
Award for outstanding
achievement in masonry
studies. Nick has also
been nominated for a
City & Guilds Medal
of Excellence, which
is due to be announced
in December.
Whilst at the college
Nick had the opportunity
to set out and carve
part of a stone feature
which will eventually
be presented to The Prince
of Wales at Highgrove,
as part of the Stonemasonry
CoVE project.
