My drawings in print!

Abby Harding cannot remember a day when she wasn't drawing. As a young child she loved creating collages, painting, drawing and making things. Now she is in the final year of an Extended Diploma in 3D Design Crafts at
York College, eagerly awaiting the moment when she sees her art work in print.

Abby is delighted that her work is to be featured in a book about Fantasy Art, entited 'Fantasy Art Drawing Skills' by Socar Myles, due to be published early next year by Quarto Publishing.

She was approached by a picture researcher who discovered her work on Deviant Art, a well known on-line gallery. Abby says: "This has happened out of the blue. My work was shared on the internet and picked up from there. My drawings are to be featured as examples for others to follow. The book will feature lots of drawing tips and it is great to know that my work will be used to help other artists. I am very excited to have this kind of attention. "

Abby would like to work in the film, CGI or game industry. Her dream job would be to work on concept designs, adapting them into 3D models, making them move in motion."
