£9.90 per hour

A Technician is required for February 2012 to provide skilled technical support for tutors and
learners in a variety of teaching and learning situations. The post holder will prepare music
technology studios, support staff and students in the safe use of equipment and will work
flexibly within the curriculum area including some external events. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining specialist music technology equipment and have prior experience of working in a recording studio and coordinating sound for live events.

Applicants should have good knowledge of and a clear practical ability to use specialist music
technology equipment, be able to diagnose and solve technical problems and have effective
team working and communication skills.
