Each month the college recognises a student who has done something exceptional; Catherine Hastwell has been chosen as Student of the Month for September.

Catherine was nominated by Craig Laskey for the extensive voluntary work she did at the beginning of term advising and guiding students and supporting students through the enrolment process.

Craig Laskey said: "During Enrolment and Freshers Week Catherine was extremely helpful and gave freely of her time in order to welcome new students to the college. Her hard work was very much appreciated."

Principal, Dr Alison Birkinshaw presented Catherine with a £25.00 Borders voucher.
