Each
month the college
recognises a student
who has done something
exceptional; Emma
Glew has been chosen
as Student of the
Month for January.
Nominated by her
tutor, Helen Dano:
Emma is a second
year Society, Health
and Development student.
She works hard and
keeps up to date
with work alongside
being a full time
carer, working part-time
to support her family.
She is a member of
the National Student
Learner Panel, and
the pressures and
demands on her time
are immense. Despite
this she always finds
time to help classmates
and remains in good
spirits. Her work
is steady and she
has achieved in the
face of adversity
which sets her apart
from other students.
Emma just keeps working
and meeting her commitments.
She is a credit to
the college.”
