Improving access to GP services in evenings and at weekends – have your say!
People living in the Vale of York are being encouraged to have their say on improving access to GP services on evenings and weekends.
NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is using NHS England funding to offer additional access to GP services on weekday evenings and weekends from October 2018.
While some Vale of York GP surgeries already provide some evening and weekend services, the CCG wants to ensure everyone in the region is served equally. The expanded service would provide more same-day and routine evening and weekend appointments, provided by a range of clinicians including doctors, nurses and pharmacists depending on your need.
The CCG is therefore asking residents in the Vale of York area to complete a short survey to help shape how this additional service is delivered. The survey can be completed online at surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ImprovingGPAccess
It takes about five minutes to complete and, in accordance with data protection law, your information will remain anonymous and will only be used to help shape these plans.
