Ethan, aged 19 from Malton, is studying Level 2 Plumbing and Heating at York College. He began his apprenticeship with Go Eco Renewables in York, in September 2017 and is a valued member of the company.

Sarah Weatherall, Office Manager at Go Eco Renewables said: “This was the fourth STARS ‘Scarborough's Talented Apprentices Recognised with Success’ event, held at The Scarborough Spa and it was fantastic to see Ethan presented with his award, which will help to build his confidence even more. The company has done very well recently, having also won RHI Installer of the year 2018 at the Energy Efficiency Awards and the Bronze Award for the Best Tradesperson at the Minster FM Listener Choice Awards.”

Apprenticeship numbers are steadily increasing and the STARS event is a superb opportunity for young people to be recognised for the drive and ambition they bring to businesses. Apprentices do not have a graduation ceremony when they finish their time and this wonderful occasion gives apprentices an accolade to aspire to and be proud of their achievements.
