The YRA is a partnership between York College and the National Railway Museum. York College delivers a wide range of courses through the YRA, please view this website to see the variety of courses on offer. Also, the YRA has purpose-built training rooms available for hire. One of the main purpose built attractions of the YRA is the Rail Track training facility which is also available for hire.

This purpose-built external track and signalling facility was launched in February 2008 and provides the capability to simulate real track and signalling operations for training purposes.
The track is available for hire to operators holding the appropriate and valid track safety competence certificates.
The YRA is located only 5 minutes walk from York railway station, making it an ideal city centre venue. You will find the YRA clearly signposted alongside the National Railway Museum.
