Learning Centre
You can study, research and surf the net in our Learning Centre. Equipped with books and periodicals, audio and video tapes, computers (including CD-ROMS, Internet access, email and printers), photocopiers, study places and help desks. These are staffed by specialists who can help you find what you need and how to use the equipment. With easy access our Learning Centre offers a pleasant working environment for private, group or class study. In addition to books and journals there are videos and AVA equipment.

The Learning Centre has 140 computers, in addition to the usual range of Learning Centre facilities such as photocopying, newspapers, reference, issue and enquiry desk facilities together with computer catalogue facilities and internet access.
The entrance is from the atrium on the first floor and refreshments are available across the bridge.

The Learning Centre networked computers have a wide range of software including Windows, MS Office, Photoshop.
Apple Macintosh computers are also available with programmes including QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Freehand, Strata Vision 4 and Claris Works.
Remember! The Learning Centre staff and their knowledge are one of the resources available, please ask for their help. Staff have subject specialist knowledge in all areas.
